I Wish I Was Wealthy

"I Wish I Was Wealthy" Poem

I wish I was wealthy, beyond compare, With coins that jingle, and bills to spare. To swim in riches, without a care, And live a life beyond all dare.

A mansion grand, with rooms so vast, Where shadows dance and memories last. A garden fair, where blooms contrast, With diamonds dew, in morning's blast.

I wish I was wealthy, to travel wide, On wings of gold, where dreams reside. To see the world from mountains' pride, And sail the seas, with time as guide.

A feast of flavors, from lands afar, Where every dish is a shining star. To taste the essence, both near and far, In every sip, in every jar.

I wish I was wealthy, to ease life's strain, To lift the burden, to break the chain. To heal the wounds of grief and pain, And turn despair into hopeful rain.

But wealth of heart, is what I seek, A treasure pure, in moments meek. In kindness shared, in love unique, In bonds that last, when times are bleak.

So though I wish for wealth untold, In silver, gold, and stories bold, I'll cherish riches, worth more than gold, In hearts united, in stories told.
